Reverse Pcod / Pcos

PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome. a disorder linked to the ovary’s inability to release an egg in which numerous little cysts (poly meaning “many”) develop in the ovaries. Menstrual cycle disruption, weight gain, insulin resistance, and facial hair are all possible side effects of PCOS.

If you have PCOS, I would advise staying away from soy products, foods that have been treated with pesticides, and any hormones that stimulate estrogen in our food supply. Instead, try to eat as much organic produce as you can. Commercial ice cream contains excess hormones and chemicals, which causes cysts in many female patients to flare up.

Higher insulin levels cause the body to produce more androgens, or male hormones, which can result in weight gain, insulin resistance, acne, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in females. It’s important to note that, although insulin resistance is consistently mentioned as a symptom of PCOS, most sources only cite a tenuous connection between the two conditions. They are unaware that PCOS is a result of insulin resistance. This is the reason that when insulin resistance goes away, PCOS goes away as well; give it a shot and you’ll see.
